She's tired, quiet and completely unproductive. Basically, you can just forget about her for a month and do her work for her. I don't follow any religion and I don't understand how intelligent people can enslave themselves to any religious rituals that don't make any sense whatsoever. This applies to any religion but especially Islam and Judaism. If I ran a company I would not employ any practising Muslims as they work a month less than anyone else does. It's completely unfair to your co-workers but just like anything to do with Islam, you cannot say anything because it's politically incorrect. Within Christianity, it seems that it is easier to become an atheist in moderate communities than in extremist cults such as the Jehovah's Witnesses. It seems that we think (often subconsciously) that if something hurts us and costs us a lot, it must be valuable. I've observed that placebo effect is stronger when the placebo is expensive and/or painful.

In Karaslavov's novel "Daughter in-law", a rich man neglected his son's disease for a long time. When, finally, he acknowledged it, he left the young man in a private hospital. He told everyone that he would never leave his son in a public hospital because "public hospitals are mortuaries", but treatment at the private hospital costed (the sum was given), so his son would be cured. The author commented that, in the father's opinion, "so much money should bring cure even if the patient is left in a puddle". However, the young man died.Maya Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10877457709995369246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25206081.post-69178504864190680982015-06-23T09:15:01.589-07:002015-06-23T09:15:01.589-07:00Unfortunately, repression actually supports people...Unfortunately, repression actually supports people's faith.

BTW, I recently stumbled on the news that "Muslims in the Arctic Circle are forced to come up with new rules for Ramadan... because the region has 24-hour sunshine".

Somehow Allah, despite His omniscience, forgot to mention that to Mohammed.Estrangedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06465624636505962313noreply@blogger.com
