Russian opposition activist slams Trump's attitude in Alaska

[Russian opposition activist] Gennady Gudkov expressed outrage at Trump's actions and statements, which clearly pander to Putin's whims.

Gennady Gudkov expressed dissatisfaction with the situation, calling a spade a spade: "I don't understand what's happening, frankly speaking. That is, there's a complete surrender of all democratic values, the principles on which the world order is built, the principles of the integrity of borders and territories. What, Putin's going to sign some papers? How many has he already signed, and where are they? Let him sign the papers in rolls and without the text. It's safer that way. There's a tried and tested method for using this paper. Agreements in rolls and without the text, so they can be used immediately for their intended purpose."

"Now they're asking him to give up more than he has as a result of three and a half years of brutal war. So, it turns out they're giving him more. What will Trump propose? Giving up Ukrainian territory, not just the territories seized by the aggressor, not just temporarily held by the occupation army, but signing border changes as part of a peace treaty? Agreeing to the annexation of Crimea, to the military seizure of territory? How can this even be proposed?" the Russian opposition activist expressed his outrage at Trump's actions.  

Then Gennady Gudkov added: "What's Trump doing? Give me a bonus now and I'll forget about all my friends? I don't understand at all, what will the conditions be? Are they preparing Ukraine for capitulation, for the surrender of territory? Raise a white flag, come out with our hands up, and surrender to the mercy of this rabid occupier? Is Mr. Trump seriously proposing this, and without consulting anyone? European leaders are coming to him, and he'll tell them, 'Listen, guys, I've decided this: this way, this way, peace comes, I get a bonus and leave, and you can mess around with it as you please.'"
