Ukrainian: Both Russia and America attacked us, one to take our land and the other our minerals

Europe should be more involved in the issue of arms production and aid to Ukraine. This was stated on air by Roman Kostenko, an MP from "Golos", secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of Ukraine, on Radio NV. 

Asked about reports that the Pentagon had suspended supplies of some air defense missiles and other precision-guided munitions to Ukraine, he noted that "everything we've gotten so far is what was planned by the previous administration, which helped us a lot."

"The current administration talked about ending the war in a day, then in 100 days, then in more, but it achieved nothing. That's the first thing. The second thing is when a conflict occurred between Israel and Iran, the United States immediately transferred even those weapons that were intended for transfer to Ukraine," Kostenko said...

"After this Administration came, we ourselves proposed, the President proposed to them that they mine our minerals together with us. And everyone applauded that now we will do it and they will supply us with weapons. As a result, we signed all the agreements, and the result is that they are reducing the amount of weapons supplied to us," the parliamentarian emphasized.  

According to him, these agreements can be assessed as follows:

"The two countries that attacked us are the guarantors of the Budapest Memorandum: some are taking away our territories, trying, and some have taken away our minerals. That is what international agreements are worth. Therefore, we need to work, draw conclusions, and I think that we need to work more with Europe. And, most importantly, look for funds," Kostenko said."
