Translating a post by Eduard Portnikov in the Obozrevatel, Aug. 31:
"Dictators of all countries are uniting in their desire to destroy the civilized world
Dictators of all countries unite.
The global situation is now worse than before World War II, because many countries possess nuclear weapons. And nuclear weapons, instead of a weapon of deterrence, have become a tool of blackmail.
Who has nuclear weapons now?
Among the democratic countries are the USA, Great Britain, France, and also Israel, which has never admitted to this.
Among the countries with dictatorial regimes are Russia, China, North Korea, Pakistan, and India, which has joined them, and Iran, which has already come very close to creating an atomic bomb.
And the situation itself is painfully reminiscent of the time before World War II.
The Hitler of the 21st century has appeared. A country has appeared that, like the Germans from the 30s of the 20th century, idolized its worthlessness.
Like the Germans, the Russians consider themselves a superior race, that is, the most spiritual.
His own Sudetenland appeared - Crimea, and also part of Donbas, which Putin could not win back in 3.5 years, and now he demands, as a condition for starting negotiations..., that... our troops leave this territory.
I am not talking about the absurdity of this demand, he is offered a simple scheme of peace negotiations - negotiations taking into account the realities on the ground.
But the emergence of this absurd idea proves that he is not going to hold any peace negotiations.
His own Chamberlains and Daladiers appeared.
Since 2014, it has been Angela Merkel, French President Macron, Erdogan, the Pope, China and Brazil...
Russia has violated all international rules, annexed the territories of another state, violated the borders of another country, and all these negotiators want to pacify it.
And now a powerful negotiator has appeared, surpassing all of them put together – Donald Trump.
Putin has already rejected his conditions seven times, and he still hopes that maybe for the hundredth time, he will agree to something.
And for now, sanctions can be left unimposed.
As long as democratic countries hope for some intelligence and desire to end the war, totalitarian countries are united in their desire to destroy the entire civilized world, and no “beautiful” ocean will prevent them from this desire.
And it’s not just Russia or even China.
You know how Iran is fighting Israel with the help of its “proxies” – Hezbollah, Hamas, Yemeni Houthis…
And China and Russia have their own “proxies” – North Korea, Iran.
North Korea is currently experiencing an economic boom; Russia is buying missiles, shells from them…
North Korea is sending its fighters to help Russia, and Russia is supplying the latest technologies to increase Korea's nuclear potential.
They have no disagreements about how many kilometers and which countries can and cannot launch missiles.
Next is Iran, which Russia is helping with nuclear technology, and may have already supplied a dozen missiles with nuclear warheads.
Who can control the actions of the DPRK or Iran?
And Western countries are somehow sluggishly reacting to this.
And how not sluggishly?
Why can Russia ignore the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and no one reacts? On what basis did it supply or intend to supply nuclear weapons to Belarus?
The reaction should be instant.
It supplies 100 missiles to Belarus, and the guarantors of the inviolability of Ukraine's borders - the USA and Great Britain - will supply 100 missiles to Ukraine.
China or Russia help North Korea and Iran with nuclear technology, but why not help, for example, Germany in this case?
It's time to end this impunity of dictators,
You ask, won't this create chaos in international relations?
International chaos already exists when a state with nuclear weapons can violate the borders of another country.
And when it understands that impunity is over, it will not be so decisive.
But this requires not only determination, but also a real understanding that bandits fear only force and retreat only before force.
Europe has already understood, it remains for Donald Trump to understand this.
Time is now moving against civilized countries.
We have already seen that most countries respect only force and money.
We need to be stronger and more decisive.
1,000 long-range missiles are more important than the aggressor's conditions."
