Kremlin delights in the damage Russian drones inflict on Europe

From the Dialog, Oct 6:

"Europe under hybrid attack: Putin continues to launch drones in the EU after pledging "no more"

Russian drones continued to terrorize Europe after Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's speech at Valdai and his promises not to do so again.

Several European airports suspended operations again due to "unknown" drones appearing in German and Norwegian airspace. This occurred just days after Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared at the Valdai Conference that he would "no longer" send drones to Europe...

Europe is reluctant to blame Moscow for what's happening, not wanting to escalate the situation, but Russia's involvement is obvious...

CNN notes: "Putin, without firing a single shot, managed to convey the essence of the war in Ukraine to millions of Europeans." The article emphasizes that ambiguity and the lack of clear evidence are classic signs of hybrid attacks.

The Kremlin, for its part, denies all accusations. Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, called the situation "strange," but added, "There are no grounds to blame Russia for this."

Putin himself, at the Valdai Club plenary session on Thursday, said with a smirk, "We will no longer send drones to France, or Denmark... or Copenhagen... Where else can they fly?"

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, for his part, openly acknowledged Russia's involvement in the incidents and explained the reasons. "The main thing is for narrow-minded Europeans to experience firsthand the danger of war, so that they fear and tremble, like dumb animals in a herd being driven to the slaughterhouse," he said."
