NATO must resist Putin before it is too late

From the Dialog, Oct 2:

"Zhdanov revealed part of Putin's plan, which he will implement if NATO "collapses"

Oleg Zhdanov called on NATO countries to begin resisting Russia before Putin completely destroys the Alliance

"Putin has crossed all acceptable boundaries. Remember, in 2022 and 2023, there was talk of escalation. Another step, another step of escalation. Back then, everyone was drawing 'red lines.' We all discussed it. Escalation reached the limit in terms of the use of nuclear weapons, but then Putin was given a cold shoulder. He was told, 'Just try it. Don't even think about it.' Russians still occasionally mention the nuclear baton, but they don't swing it too hard," Oleg Zhdanov recalled...

"So how can we escalate further? We need to expand the conflict. If we can't go any further up (a nuclear bomb can't be used, it has a big red cross on it), then we need to go wider. That's what Putin did: he went wider, he went after NATO, and with a hybrid war (it's not really a war on one side, but on the other, he's seriously harassing NATO countries)," the military expert suggested.

Oleg Zhdanov then warned NATO of Putin's plans: "We'll see how decisive Europe will be in using force to fight off Russia. If they don't fight back, Putin will use these methods to drive them to a white heat, to hysteria, and then strangle them and say: either you capitulate to me, or I will continue the terror. When NATO collapses, and it will soon collapse in this new type of hybrid war, Putin will then 'strangle them one by one' and 'swallow them under his wing.' So this is their only chance.""
