"Dmitriev brought a "gift from Putin" to the US
Kirill Dmitriev, Putin's special representative for investment and economic cooperation, brought chocolates with him to the United States featuring Putin's image and quotes. He posted a photo of them on his Instagram page, GORDON reports.
The packaging, in addition to Putin's face, featured the inscriptions "We don't abandon our own!" and "Great words from a 'great' man."
"Continuing the Russia-US dialogue," Dmitriev, known as the Russian dictator's negotiator, captioned his post.
Russian propaganda outlet RT claims Dmitriev brought the chocolates as a gift to the Americans. The channel published an image of the chocolates, citing marketplaces. Dmitriev himself reposted the propagandists' message on Telegram.
Each candy has a cover with a quote from Putin. Among them: "Russia's borders never end," "We are ready to meet any challenge of the times and win!", and "If a fight is inevitable, strike first.""
