Israeli military expert Igal Levin in the Obozrevatel:
"Terrorist strike on Yarova: revenge and retaliatory strikes are needed against those who gave orders to kill civilians
9.09.2025
Commenting on the horrific terrorist attack in Yarova, where Russians killed more than 20 people, mostly pensioners, today, Zelensky wrote that a response is needed from the world, the US, Europe, and the G20. [25 pensioners were murdered as they were waiting to receive their pensions - M. M.]
I understand why the Ukrainian president writes this, but, alas, there will be no such reaction: the world doesn’t care – it has always been this way and it always will be this way.
Historically, when cannibals were brought to justice, it was done not because they were cannibals, but because it was in the national interest of those who were brought to justice, and cannibalism was always somewhere in the tenth place.
No one will ever fight for you, no one will ever avenge you, and even more so, no one cares that Putin is a cannibal; on the contrary, he is an example for the big powers: that this is possible – you can fight as much as you want and kill people.
What's needed isn't some kind of G or X or K reaction, but revenge and retaliatory strikes: blood for blood, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth; for every dead Ukrainian civilian, ten dead officers: those who push the buttons, the "card players," the dispatchers, the guides, the shift supervisors, and so on.
These are legitimate targets, and only if those Russians who give the orders, send the missiles, bombs and planes, know that they will personally pay with their heads for the murder of civilians, only that can be a deterrent.
Nothing else: strength is always overcome by greater strength, cruelty by cruelty, fire is not extinguished by water; fire can only be put out by an even greater whirlwind of fire."
