The political observer revealed Putin's plan for Ukraine: "For him, every occupied Ukrainian region, according to the 'Salami' policy, is merely a springboard for the occupation of a new Ukrainian region, ultimately ending the existence of Ukrainian statehood itself. We saw Crimea transform before our eyes into a veritable fortress, so that southern Ukraine could be seized, as we saw in February 2022."
"If Putin were to succeed in capturing eastern Ukraine, there is no doubt that it would become a springboard for seizing central and then western Ukraine. Putin generally thinks in terms of springboards. For him, Ukraine is a springboard for Russia to become the geopolitical hegemon of Europe.
